Super Powers We Forgot
A reminder to self about small lifestyle modifications that have a significant effect
Life is seasonal. What serves us in one season may require dismantling in the next. This is as true for lifestyle and practices as it is for our clothing.
As children and students, we are often forced to wake up earlier than we naturally would, jumping into action for someone else’s demands. Over time, we lose contact with our internal compass.
Every morning - honestly, ponder your day, what activities would have the most meaningful outcome, most aligned sensations, and be intentional about their prioritization.
Visualize your day, what happens at sunrise, sunset - what is social and what is solitary - how do you invest in your goals, relationships, and community?
Assign connections between habits you want and habits you have. “I do 10 pushups every time I wash my hands”, “I do a breathing exercise every time I enjoy a cup of tea”.
These practices compound and bring us closer to our soul’s intention.
